The Trial Edition of NexentaStor is a fully functional version without capacity limitations and includes limited access to commercial support as well as access to commercial plug-ins; to activate these optional modules you simply need to select them from the NexentaStor user interface. You can easily convert your free trial to a commercial license simply by entering the license key you will receive via email when you purchase a license.

Detect and correct silent data corruption:
Nothing can absolutely prevent silent data corruption. You can find a summary of a paper from the 2007 USENIX Conference on File and Storage Technologies as well as a link to the paper here showing that technology (and price tag) have no bearing on the frequency of data corruption.
NexentaStor can, however, detect ever more inevitable drive errors thanks to the use of 128bit check sums and can correct them if you use the built in RAID Z and RAID Z2 capabilities. Because of these capabilities -- plus the breadth of snapshot and mirroring capabilities included with NexentaStor -- you will enjoy superior data integrity from NexentaStor than from older solutions.
