How to change web GUI theme: colors, fonts, styles and overall look-and-feel? Hot

NexentaStor Web GUI is designed to support multiple themes, each defining its own colors, fonts, styles and the overall look-and-feel. There are currently two built-in themes:

  • nexenta
  • nexenta_plain

To switch from theme to theme, edit /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/nmv/config/app.cfg on the appliance, and set the nmv.theme value. There are two valid values right now:

nmv.theme = "nexenta"

and

nmv.theme = "nexenta_plain"

Then restart NMV:

# svcadm restart nmv

Note that the latter may help with Internet Explorer 6. In fact, one of the motivations to produce a simple ('nexenta_plain') theme in the first place was to support IE 6.

Say that there are themes supported does not do much unless you give examples.

How about some screen shots so we can see what you are talking about.
