NexentaStor 2.x Optional Modules
NexentaStor delivers optional plug-ins using advanced packaging, which means these plug-ins can be added without restarting NexentaStor and with none of the usual hassles of upgrades.
There are commercial plug-ins, for which there is generally an additional license fee, as well as non-commercial plug-ins, for which there is not.
Not all the plug-ins will be useful for everyone. We do not separately license basic NAS/iSCSI capabilities, such as shared access via CIFS or NFS -- all users of NexentaStor receive these basic capabilities. However Nexenta does license capabilities such as VM DataCenter or HA Cluster that are useful for only a subset of users.
