Nexenta CEO to Present on Next Generation Open Software-Defined Storage at University of Colorado; Joint Collaboration with Colorado Technology Foundation

Santa Clara, Calif.—May 5, 2015—Nexenta (@Nexenta), the global leader in Open Source-driven Software-Defined Storage (OpenSDS), today announced that Tarkan Maner, CEO and Chairman, will be presenting on the next generation of Software-Defined Storage (SDS) in partnership with University of Colorado, Denver’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the Colorado Technology Foundation (CTF). 

Tarkan Maner’s presentation, entitled “The Evolution of the Data Center: The Next Generation of Software-Defined Storage,” will be presented in the Student Commons Building on the University of Colorado’s Denver campus. He will offer his perspective on the direction of the Big Data and storage industries, highlighting the progression toward a ‘software-defined everything’ world. 

Maner is a global executive, investor and advisor in the information technology industry. His operational and investment areas of focus include social media, mobility, Internet of everything, big data, cloud computing, and where software-defined infrastructure trends now redefine the enterprises from the data center to the end users.

The Colorado Technology Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Colorado Technology Association that bridges companies to STEM education, technology and workforce programs in Colorado. CTF exists to make it easy for companies to meaningfully engage in the community to create the future workforce they need.
